Computers are wonderful things, with which we can do all sorts of things that our grandparents could only have dreamed about, but when they go wrong, it can seem like the roof has just fallen in.

We depend upon our computers - both at home and at work - to such a degree that it's only when one breaks down on us that we realise just how much of our life relies upon them, and we need to get the things working again, as quickly and efficiently as possible - if we're honest, within reason, the actual cost of doing that comes a poor third in our calculations, and a lot of so-called computer "doctors" know that only too wel, and often charge accordingly.

That's not the way we work. If your PC goes down, you can call us and, if you can give us sufficient symptoms to go on, we'll give you a preliminary diagnosis (although, in all honesty, that is only going to be in general terms) and a very rough idea of what sort of costs you could be looking at.

You can then bring your PC in to us and, within a few hours, we should be able to give you a more accurate summary of what the trouble is, together with a pretty good estimate of what it's going to cost to fix it, and how long that will take - you can then decide if you want us to proceed and, if not, there is no charge at this stage.

Mostly, we reckon you'll want us to go ahead and cure the problem, and if you tell us to, that's exactly what we'll do - quickly, without fuss, and as economically as possible. We can even arrange to collect and deliver back your PC, although there is a nominal charge for that service.

We understand the urgency and the importance of getting to the root of the problem with any PC or networking failure, and we will treat every single customer's situation as if it were our own. In other words, we won't be happy until we have diagnosed and fixed your equipment and finally reunited you with your computer and everything is once again back to smooth normality.
